Polychrome bas-reliefs

Here we present a section of polychrome bas-reliefs, true beauties of art. Our bas-reliefs are made in alabaster, they have a polychrome in oil colours and the patina is based on natural wax, which gives the works an impression of Antiquity.

The painting "Choir of angels surrounding the Virgin" by Bouguereau   William-Adolphe Bouguereau (1825 - 1905) was a French academic painter and traditionalist. During his life he enjoyed significant popularity in France and the United States, was given numerous official honors, and received top prices for his work. As the quintessential salon painter of his generation, he was reviled by the Impressionist avant-garde.
