The Charites in the Greek mythology were the goddesses of the grace, who were associated with Aphrodite. They are the daughters of Zeus and Eurynome, and were called: Euphrosyne ("the Mirth"), Thalia ("the festivity") and Aglaia ("the Shining"). The three Charites or Graces were a favorite subject of visual arts and were often represented unclothed while they were touching or embracing mutually. In the Roman and Latin mythology the Graces are known under these names: Castitas, Pulchritude y Voluptas, which means as much as the virgin, the wife and the mistress. Venus and Adonis. 110x67cm     Today we present a work of our section of polychromed bas-reliefs , to be more precise the section of Renaissance and Neoclassicism , these reliefs are modeled by artisans by hand in Alabaster, then they will be polychromed with oil painting and finally the work gets a gilded, this procedure gives these works a unique value, the beauty of these works is unimaginable. This work comes from the Flemish artist Bartholomäus Spranger (1546 - 1611) and is called Venus and Adonis.

The model building are of a really incredible beauty; and also very inexpensive. Here you can find models such as the Towers Of Cuart in Valencia. It is a part of the original wall of Valencia , built by order of Peter of Aragon in the fourteenth century and destroyed in 1865 , where now only two entrances are left. One of them is called the Door of Cuarte ( Torres de Quart ), built in the middle of the XV century ( 1441-1460) by Master Pedro Bofill . Inspired by Neapolitan buildings , the door has two large, robust and semi - cylindrical towers . Due to its outstanding defense , lack openings to the outside , while it has inside on the facade overlooking the city , has a dense network of doors and stairs
