The statue was discovered in its present state in the Campo de 'Fiori (Field of Flowers) under Pope Julius II (1503-1513). This statue probably depicted a man mounted on an animal, the pose of the torso with its extraordinarily well-represented musculature had a great influence on later artists such as Michelangelo and Raphael Sanzio of the Renaissance, and other artists of Mannerism and the Baroque.

Carved wood. 75x27x15   Today we present one of our proudest works, it is an unique piece, carved in wood entirely by hand, in the piece have worked excellent craftsmen for many hours and have given it an excellent patina of gold and tempera. The figure represents the Mother of God with Child Jesus, it measures 75cm and has incredible details. The Mother of God holds her son in her left arm and in her right hand an apple. Engraved on the fruit is a cross-section of a star with five peaks, the Greek symbol of wisdom. In the Garden of Eden there is a tree: the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Wisdom therefore symbolises both connotations in the apple. The depiction of the Virgin and Child in this way leads us to the idea of the wisdom of the Son of God.

This piece depicts a naked boy, who is taking a thorn from his left foot. The Boy with Thorn originally is a Greco-Roman Hellenistic bronze sculpture, that is located now in the Palazzo dei Conservatori, Rome. There exist a Roman marble copy of this theme, which is in the collection of the Medici, and is exposed in a corridor of the Uffizi Gallery, Florence.

The Charites in the Greek mythology were the goddesses of the grace, who were associated with Aphrodite. This work comes from the Flemish artist Bartholomäus Spranger (1546 - 1611) and is called Venus and Adonis.

It is a part of the original wall of Valencia , built by order of Peter of Aragon in the fourteenth century and destroyed in 1865 , where now only two entrances are left. One of them is called the Door of Cuarte ( Torres de Quart ), built in the middle of the XV century ( 1441-1460) by Master Pedro Bofill . Inspired by Neapolitan buildings , the door has two large, robust and semi - cylindrical towers . Due to its outstanding defense , lack openings to the outside , while it has inside on the facade overlooking the city , has a dense network of doors and stairs

The scheme of the generally unclothed Kouros was in the whole Greek culture space spread and and known before the 8th century BC. The 40 cm high figure of "Kouros of Palekastro", which was found in 1987 in Crete, proves that the scheme was used before the Mycenaeans conquest of the island and thus before the Dark Ages.
