Figure of the Discobolus. 33cm   This month we have a beautiful piece of a Discobolus. The Discobolus is an sculpture realized by Greek founder Eleutheras Myron around the year 455 before Christ, it is one of the most famous Greek statues par excellence, which represents an athlete in the instant just before to throw a disc. It belongs to the classical period.

Visit our small architecture section   One of our newest products is this impressive model of the Duomo Due, a prototype model of Miguel Angel Buonarroti of a dome for a cathedral, this model is now located in the Vatican Museums.

Relief of Giovanna Tornabuoni. 50,5x81cm   Some new release of our store is the bas-relief of the portrait of Giovanna Tornabuoni painted by Domenico Ghirlandaio, a Florentine painter of the Renaissance. This is one of the most attractive and subjective works which is located in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. The inscription says, “If only the art could reproduce the character and spirit! In all the world a more beautiful painting would not be found.”, followed by the date of death of the lady in Roman numbers, 1488.

Goddess Athena. Polychromed. 53x18x33cm   One of our best sections is the section of classical statues, because you can find big pieces with an incredible finish, which imitate the marble or stone. We devote with much effort in our workshop to give these pieces a perfect patina. Only take a look at the finish of the Bust of this Goddess Athena , painted entirely by hand by us.

Visit our Egyptian figures section   This month of April is the Month of Egypt. We show pieces similar to this extraordinary reproduction of the Egyptian Museum of Cairo, the funeral mask of Tutankhamen which measures 20x22x28 cm.

Visit our section of Sèvres style porcelains   Believe it or not we have a wide collection of Porcelains, Vases and Centerpieces, these are unique and original pieces of French and English style of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Porcelains of the Sevres style realized with traditional techniques, which achieve an incomparable beauty and delicacy. Here for example we have this beautiful Biscuit Porcelain Vase of 54cm, more of an half meter high.

Visit our tapestry section   In our collection of tapestries we have really stunning pieces. A tapestry is a nice alternative to decorate the wall. Although our tapestries are made here in Spain they are very cheap, because they are made with computerized jacquard-looms. We are very proud of our latest pieces like this pictorial representation of Keukenhof, a beautiful Dutch gardens.

Aztec calendar. Diameter: 43cm   The Aztec calendar is the astronomical calendar system of the Aztecculture. It is one of the most advanced calendars of the Mesoamerican natives. The Aztecs were a group of indigenous peoples in Mesoamerica (Mexico), known especially because of the unusual architecture and the design of their art.

Visit our section of classic large reliefs   The Sistine Chapel is the most famous chapel of the Apostolic Palace of the Vatican, also is the official residence of the Pope. The chapel has great works of art like its frescoes by Michelangelo Buonarroti, among these frescoes is located the famous work of the Creation, a beautiful piece that we have with very good details in our website.

Sculpture of the Diana of Gabies. Height: 164cm   According to recent studies it looks like that this figure of Artemis, popularly known as Diana of Gabies or Gabios, is a copy of an original by Praxiteles, created around the year 330 before Christus. Artemis, goddess of the hunt is often represented, like in this case, with a short tunic, which in this sculpture appears covered by another very specific robe named diplax, which was usually offered to the goddess by future wives and mothers. The sculpture, was discovered in 1792 in Gabies and belonged to the Borghese Collection, until the year 1807 in which it was acquired by Napoleon and wherein was converted to a part of the Louvre collections.
