Tutankhamun was an Egyptian pharaoh of the XVIIIth Dynasty. His reign was characterized by a return to the normality in the sector of society and religion. After his early death, he was buried in the Valley of the Kings, and his tomb, discovered in 1922, is the only tomb of a Pharaoh which was found today without being plundered by looters. From this same fact comes the fame of his sarcophagus.
